Kyoko Bass is a paper artist and painter currently based in Fort Worth, TX.
She was born in Japan and moved to the U.S. when she was 18 years old with her family. After earning her BFA in printmaking from the University of Georgia and Master of Architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology, Kyoko has worked in the engineering and 2D/3D digital art field for many years.
Her artworks explore the delicate patterns of nature and natural phenomena such as wave and wind movements through painting and paper sculpture.
Her recent work: Papercut Sculpture is composed of a combination of different mediums and methods such as drawing, Japanese Kirie (papercut art), watercolor painting and sculpture.
